Casa Vaqueros
Vaqueros, a neighborhood in Salta, Argentina, is graced by a river that flows through the site of this residential house. Recognizing the inherent value of the river along the southern boundary of the property, the social areas were strategically positioned to face this direction, maximizing views and fostering connectivity to the nearby beach.
The project aimed to design a residential house for a family of four, featuring a dedicated space on the first floor for our primary client's hair styling business, complete with a separate entrance and service area.
Brick pillars and a local-stone fireplace that extend from the ground to the roof enhance the building's prominence along the riverside. The structure is crowned with a pitched roof supported by wooden beams, ensuring that the natural beauty of these materials and the design align with local architectural traditions.
